You spend very little time with your clinicians and the rest of the time you are managing on your own.
The partners of Mayfield Medical Centre took over the GP contract for St Lukes and Greenswood Medical Practice in Brixham on the 1st January 2019. This means that Mayfield are responsible for all the staff, any associated costs and receives the monthly contractual payments. We will be erecting new signage in the near future recognising that the surgery will be known as Mayfield Medical Centre at New Road, Brixham.
To complete the transaction and improve the efficiency of the service we provide, we have to apply to NHS England to merge the contractual payments and the clinical systems. We are also requesting to move the whole Surgery from where it is now to the Brixham hospital site and closing the site at New Road. If all goes to plan we would hope to be in situ by the end of June 2019.
We would welcome your views. For further information and a questionnaire for you to print and complete. Or download and email to the email address provided.
