This mobile app, sponsored by Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, gives parents tailored advice, such as dealing with night terrors or up-all-night teens, based on their sleeping patterns. It has been designed in a dark and orange palette to minimise the amount of blue light emitted - which is the wavelength of light that most disrupts sleep.
A minimum of eight to nine hours’ good sleep on school nights is recommended for teens. Don't have a mobile, tablet, TV or computer in the bedroom, as the light from the screen interferes with sleep. A music system is preferable. Plus loads more tips....
